Character Description
The Pilot serves as a symbol of the Rising, a sign that the Society will never completely conquer the hearts and wills of those who wish to make a choice. This title goes to different men and women across the ages, a new one stepping up as the former passes away. Cassia, Xander and Ky are abducted by the current Pilot when he suspects them of sabotaging the goals of the Rising.
