Character Description
The film’s main protagonist. She is an aspiring singer from Pittsburgh who moves to New York to chase her dreams of becoming a singer. She performs nightly at a local club in Harlem. She has built a loyal following as a local performer around the city, but have yet to receive her big break. She is a regal beauty reminiscent of a Nancy Wilson or Diahann Carroll. Her powerhouse vocals can capture anyone's attention. Her musical heroes are Whitney Houston and Aretha Franklin.
