a smooth-talking and wise-cracking mixed breed dog who lives at a train station in 1940's Jazz Age United States of America where he finds himself a lot of new friends including Lady which he falls in love, longs to evolve from a lonely canine to a more heroic dog in order to find his own dog owner, and pays a visit to Lady's house where he holds a meeting with Lady and her friends; Jock the Scottish Terrier and Trusty the elderly Bloodhound.
