    Zachary Levy made an open statement regarding his role as Shazam in James Gunn’s DCU which implies that, unlike everyone else in the DCEU he is not on the chopping block.

    @8r0k3n he also said that he doesen't know what will happen with his character after shazam fury of the god releases so it is likely that he will not return as shazam in the dcu since the rock isn't playing black adam anymore.

    @logicface true. In fact I'm fairly certain that once Gunn and Safran start officially implementing their plans nobody from the previous universe is going to survive. I'm just saying that even though everyone else is getting shut down, Levy is pretty sure he's in a good spot for now.
