Character Description
Peter Bailey is George and Harry's father and former owner of the Bailey Brother's Building and Loan, alongside Uncle Billy. He was a good, loving father who worked hard for his family and he also wanted Harry to go to college. He eventually dies from a stroke when George and Mary first met and have a wonderful evening together after the school dance, leaving George to decide to give up his trip to Europe to help the Building and Loan.
