The infamous youngest victor of all time, Finnick was born shortly before Lyme Tanner's Hunger Games in upper-class District 4 and entered their Career training programmes at the age of 12. Extremely self-conident and capable at a young age, he volunteered at age 14 but proved himself in his archipelago arena; he wracked up 11 kills including the boys from Districts 1, 2, 5, 6, 9, 10 and 12 and the girls from Districts 1, 6, 7 and 8. Following several years of prostitution and bonding with the traumatised Annie Cresta Finnick defected to the rebellion, where he became a leading figure; as of the 3rd Quarter Quell he is still alive age 24.
