Blight was an infamous victor; sometimes called 'The Tree Elf of District 7', affectionately by the Capitol and derisively by District 7. Blight's family, with the help of Eamon Sullivan sent him into the Games to die-without Eamon's mentoring-because they correctly suspected him of being gay. In the Games Blight allied with the boy from 10, Devon, who died gruesomely and enountered a debacle where his boyfriend, Jason, was sent into the arena illegally; shortly after this Blight made his only kill in the District 1 boy. He remained neutral at first but after Jason's death in a Capitol plague in 72 ADD Blight joined the rebellion. As of the 3rd Quarter Quell he is still alive age 39.
