Kano is not your typical “good guy” — and he’d punch you in the face for even calling him one. A foul-mouthed, laser-eyed, cyber-enhanced mercenary from Earthrealm with a long rap sheet and a longer list of enemies, Kano is the last person you’d expect to show up in Hell without a kill order in hand.

But in Helluva Boss: The Movie – “Aiden’s Inferno,” Kano isn’t here to cause carnage — not at first, anyway. He winds up in Hell under mysterious circumstances after crossing paths with some shady interdimensional arms traffickers. But rather than go on a rampage, he takes a peculiar interest in Aiden Lambert — the human teenager stuck in Hell who’s got the whole place on edge.

Maybe it’s because Kano sees a bit of himself in Aiden — a smart-mouthed underdog with too many enemies and not enough allies. Or maybe he’s just bored. Either way, he ends up becoming an unlikely protector and weapons supplier to Aiden and the I.M.P. crew.

Bringing brutal combat skills, illegal tech, and a questionable moral compass to the team, Kano’s presence in Hell throws everyone off — especially since he seems to enjoy being here. He’s not afraid of demons, doesn’t care about royal politics, and thinks Loona is “the most terrifyingly hot thing he’s ever seen.”

Beneath the sarcasm, however, Kano has his own motives: he knows something about the power struggle Stella is orchestrating, and he might be the key to sabotaging it… for a price.
