MUTO Prime is the parent subspecies of the two M.U.T.O.s which fought Godzilla in San Francisco back in 2014 and would later be killed by him through the intervention of Monarch's Dr. Emma Russell. MUTO Prime appears in Rick's flashbacks where he recalls the moments he has been through during his time as a field trooper after joining Monarch as part of the G-Team Division.
