Character Description
Dr. Ishirō Serizawa was a scientist and a member of Monarch who assisted his allies in helping Godzilla defend the world and he sacrificed himself to revive Godzilla. In a flashback taking place shortly after Godzilla's victory against Rajira, Ishirō Serizawa went to visit his old friend Jack Matrix in hopes of getting him out of retirement and come back with him and Monarch. But when Jack refuses, Dr. Serizawa accepted Jack's choice. Dr. Serizawa's death would convince Jack Matrix to come out of retirement and rejoin Monarch.
