  • Visually, Dr. Miki Koroku is inspired by Dr. Yukiko Ifukube from TriStar's Godzilla: The Series, which I saw for the first time earlier this year. Her personality is inspired by Reagan Ridley from the adult animated Netflix series, Inside Job. Her last name, "Koroku", is a reference to Reijiro Koroku, the composer of the soundtrack for The Return of Godzilla (1984) (Much like how Dr. Ifukube from Godzilla: The Series is a reference to Godzilla's original composer, Akira Ifukube). Her first name, "Miki", is a reference to Miki Saegusa, one of the major recurring characters in the Heisei Godzilla series. ~ nerdsman567
  • Mecha-G is designed by the specifications of K.O.R.D.'s head cybernetics expert, Dr. Miki Koroku. Miki is a Japanese inventor who first joined K.O.R.D. shortly after finishing university, becoming a renowned prodigy in K.O.R.D.'s Tech Department (KT Dept.), and is considered one of K.O.R.D.'s greatest minds. She's contributed several groundbreaking inventions to the organization, making her the ideal choice to helm The Mechagodzilla Project. Despite her often callous, sarcastic, cynical nature, she's actually quite self-conscious and insecure about her accomplishments and is very self-critical towards her own inventions. But she's also greatly passionate about the potential her inventions could bring. Having lost both of her parents from a Godzilla attack when she was still attending college, she wants her inventions to create a secure and safe future for innocent civilians under the constant threat of kaiju attacks. ~ nerdsman567
