Character Description
Bond tracks a lead to a hidden black market meeting in Cambodia. There, he briefly encounters Gideon Pryor, a sharp-dressed, gaunt ex-agent who now sells secrets to the highest bidder. Though the encounter is brief, Gideon drops a cryptic line: Gideon (to Bond): “Funny thing about ghosts, 007… the ones you bury in the jungle tend to follow you home.” Bond lets him walk — for now.
