There are many stories and legends that revolve around the ghostly, a pet native to the lands surrounding Shadowglen. The tales are endless, limited only to the imagination, and the truth behind any of them is yet to be completely proven. What is known is that ghostlies are not true ghosts, but more like wandering spirits. Deep within the forests surrounding Shadowglen, there are many ancient, unused, and decaying graveyards. It is from here that these spirits are believed to emerge. At first, ghostlies are completely invisible. As they float into populated areas, they will rummage around for discarded garments, drapes, clothing, and other cloth items to don as cloaks. This makes the spirits 'come to life'- so to speak - and it is at this point they become visible to mortals. They will then - very conveniently! - place themselves in what looks like a welcoming, cozy place and make themselves quite at home.
