Xiangpengmon is a fellow disciple of Huanglongmon who worked alongside the Sovereigns for a long time... Or so it claims. Either way, it's been charged with observing the Devas' progress in stopping Meicrackmon and the Four Ferocious Beasts and reporting back to the Sovereigns, since the Sovereigns themselves are busy with making sure the Digital World isn't completely upturned by Meicrackmon's unsealing. However, Xiangpengmon's real goal is to impede their progress so that its own disciples can stop Meicrackmon, take all the glory, and rise up a few ranks in the Digital World along the way.
