Character Description
An astronaut, karateka, and pilot of the titular machine Daimos. Dr. Hartford, the father of Richard Hartford, was killed during a failed attempt at peace treaty with the Brahmins. During his first battle with Daimos, Richard found an amnesiac girl named Erika and fell in love, despite eventually learning that she was the Princess of Brahm. His love continues to drive him forward despite others warning him against it. Along the way, he learns that the Brahmins are more than just mere invaders, and how some of the men fighting for his side weren't that squeaky clean.
