Hob used to be the little boy’s pet cat, until his angry mother threw Hob out of the house as his owner’s punishment for not cleaning him up. While living life as the wild street cat, Hob found the four turtles laying on the ooze and tried to take one of them as his snack. But dash off after a rat bite his right eye. Very shortly after he was injured by a rat, The spill of the Ooze that Hob caught during his attempt to steal the turtle, turned him into the mutant cat. Decades later after transformation, Old Hob became a member of the Mighty Mutanimals and later after Slash's death, The leader of the same team.
