Character Description
Ellington is described by Snicket to be mysterious and deceitful; however with very rare exception she is actually quite open about her motivations. She makes it clear throughout the story that her only goal is to save her kidnapped father, who she is fiercely loyal to. She is resourceful, a bit manipulative, but desperately longs for connection. She has a smile that could mean anything.
