Mentored by her preceding victor [and later close friend] Blight Greenwood, Johanna was far more confident about these Games then she looked. During her time in the taiga arena, she put on a front of cowardice to repel threats. When the Career boys from 1 and 4 approached her, laughing, Johanna cut both their throats with a hatchet and started on the move to find more prey. She overpowered the girls from Districts 2 and 3 to achieve victory. As of 75 AR she is still alive age 21, the only living female victor from District 7 after Hazel Dean's death. Though she has been in romantic relationships with both men and women she has never married.
