The 47th Hunger Games were set in a boiling desert and produced the death of 14 tributes in the first two days. The victor, Apollo Lux of District 1, was highly skilled and split from the Career alliance on the fourth day with his District partner. He overpowered the boy from District 10 in the finale. 10 years after his victory he mentored a victor in Gallium Frey. After his victory he was a proud, outspoken supporter of the Capitol regime and had a son at age 30 who he was planning to enter the Games after himself one day. As of 75 AR he is still alive age 46. It is rumoured however that he sacrificed his own life to the rebellion in order to give his son time to escape.
