Born into one of the wealthiest families of District 5, Porter Tripp was reaped for the 38th Hunger Games at the age of 18. Her arena, an abandoned seaside town, tested her physically and mentally to a harsh degree. A kind and compassionate girl, Porter was very reluctant to abandon her pacifist principles in the arena and experienced extreme PTSD after killing the male tribute from District 1 in self defense. In the final face off she and her final opponent, the District 2 girl, both fell almost to their deaths, where Porter broke her neck. As of the 3rd Quarter Quell she is still alive age 55.
