Monique was strikingly beautiful with her mixed european-middle eastern heritage from the moment the Capitol first saw her but she was also cunning enough to use her charm. In the swamp arena Districts 8 and 10 were eliminated at the bloodbath in addition to several others. Monique armed herself with a serrated knife and moved on the lookout for her opponents. She overpowered first the District 2 female, then the District 12 female and finally the District 6 male. As of 75 AR she is still alive age 74 though she was prostituted to the Capitol for over 25 years. She has never joined the rebellion.
