Charlie Raw (died 1537) was a Yorkshire shepherd who took part in the Pilgrimage of Grace revolt of 1536. Raw was a devout Catholic, and he witnessed Dr. John Frankish and other royal commissioners dissolve Sawley Abbey and destroy its religious symbols. Raw was executed for his involvement in the Pilgrimage, and his head, along with those of John Constable and Lord Darcy, was impaled on a pike and put on display.
