Beautiful, innocent and angelic, Lucie’s outstanding beauty has the power of healing and bringing her family together, which earns her the title “Golden Thread.” Lucie initially assumed her parents were deceased, but after learning her father is alive but haggard from many years of imprisonment, her kind and loving words restore him to his usual self. While she marries Darnay and lives a blissful family life with him and her father, she still cares about her other suitor, Carton and is the only one who can understand his inner goodness.
